Was dead when I ordered at 5:00 AM in the morning. They canceleed my order 2 hours later saying the gift card was out of stock. This is the second time in a row where they have run this deal and cancelled my order that was placed at 5:00 AM.

If they are already out that early in the sale, then why even have the sale? And their system is terrible if the order goes through and then they cancel afterward.

Honestly, Staples is going straight downhill - I wouldn't be shocked if they go bankrupt soon.

If you're on the $4.99 12 month D+ with Hulu deal, only D+ gift cards/credits will work. I had a $50 Hulu GC and ended up swapping with a friend since D+ wouldn't accept it. Technically under the BF deal, you're under the D+ sub (not Hulu). I guess they're still somewhat separate entities.
