10 inches is too small for this type of thing. I'd go for the 15 inch minimum

Be wary of this item, it looks like a bait and switch. The item description says it's calendar but it's just a repurposed photo frame, the reviews go back as far as 2019, possibly further. Attached is a picture from the one review when this was a photo frame. Always check the reviews, but I don't have to tell you guys that.

It was a bit small for the price, I ended up getting a google display for cheaper and displayed the calendar

Anyone trying to make their own with a portable monitor and Home Assistant? I'm slowly making progress. I doubt anyone in the family will use it, but it's been a fun project.

Dakboard is another option that looks easier to setup. There's a free version.
