This is a gimbal. It has a bunch of motors that not only stabilize the footage but also let you do cool effects. Had this one since the beginning of this year and I've used it for all kinds of videos. The stabilization works great and makes even regular shots look professional. I've used it mostly for traveling but also use it for group shots where it auto tracks you and doesn't need another person behind the camera
I'm awaiting delivery of the DJI Osmos 7p. I went with them as I have see how good the tracking works with their drones.
I'm waiting for a deal for the OM8, full circle rotation (like this insta360 flow 2 pro) vs 7p angle locked. Insta360 Flow 2 Pro is generally considered better than the 7p in both hardware and tracking, and is not inferior to the new OM8 either. But in the end choosing between Flow2Pro vs OM8 mostly comes down to which brand you have already invested in. And since OM8 is new, it might not have any deals for months.
