Also, sounds like the ban is going into effect later this month, meaning product availability might be limited moving forward... And I can always return with Amazon.
And many posts around the web mentioned DJI Mini 5 Pro over 250g. And with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, I assume almost certain it is over 250g(?)

If this matters to you, just know what you are buying. The DJI 'Fly More Combo' packs are still 249g with normal battery, just comes with additional 'normal' batteries and accessories.
The DJI 'Fly More Combo Plus' is where you get the larger capacity batteries that bring the drone over 249g, requiring additional registration in order to fly legally...

Fly more combo plus is where you get the larger capacity batteries that take you over 249g giving you more flying time, but requiring a Part 107 certificate instead of just the drone TRUST test in order to fly legally in the US.
I can't speak to your comment about some mini 5 drones weighing over the 249g limit with the standard battery. It's not something I'm concerned with. If it concerns you, and you're not willing to get your Part 107 certificate, sounds like drone flying might not be the hobby for you...
If you're on the fence, buy it now, you can always return it. Looks like come Dec 23, for DJI, we will be limited to only the inventory currently in the US, so deals are going to get fewer and farther between, in my opinion...
Regarding the description in the OP, the 'extended battery life' specifically refers to the fly more combo plus. There are actually four versions of the product sold on that page...
