whether this is the latest iteration of a company unconcerned with quality or somehow licensing of that name i'd be careful here.
fyi this is not the same lineage of the expensive stereo turntable company that went out of business a few years ago.
edit: most bluetooth 4.2 devices list 50-60 meters as their signal range so if dual is advertising 100 feet or less that's probably a sign of a poorly designed device that has its bluetooth radio buried under the metal housing
