Doesn't seem like a great deal, price history shows this was $50 a month ago.
Staples has the newer 600VA unit for $60. Also has USB data port. https://www.staples.com/apc-back-...t_24645593

Nothing against this unit but I know it's advertised for being for a computer I wouldn't think most home computers this would be sufficient for any length of runtime if the power went out.
It's to allow for graceful shutdown not really extended computing when the power is out.
IF you have a high-end pc this will just shut off when playing a game as the power draw for the gpu and cpu ramp up. You'd need one of the 1500va or more models of any decent brand. Better still just get an ecoflow or similar brand with pure sine wave with a fast ups detection system.

have had a few of these and they keep failing, and then not supported as a "new" updated version has come out? pretty lame. they beep incessantly with no way to silence them either.

Likely battery is bad, easy to replace. Unless critical, just get a generic off Amz for 1/3 the price.
Far as the beep. I fixed the issue on the two bedrooms with alarm clocks... opened up the UP and removed the little beeper (black cylindrical thing.. about 1/2" called piezoelectric buzzer)
I got ups 's in a variety of places.... mostly because our power flickers a lot during heavy winds... and now is the season.
So when power flickers, my tv, cable box, router don't reboot. Yes when the power goes out for more than a few seconds, TV gets turned off quick. 5min UPS will run my router for 1hr+

These are ancient and just trash nowadays. The lead acid barely last 3 years, i had to change them all the time as i had 5 units at the office at various sizes. Today you can get LFP battery units like ecoflow, jacketuy with huge capacities, insane amount of features like solar, bt, scheduling, for not much more. Just got a 999watt unit for $150 recently it should last way longer than these bs VA false advertising things.

Went to them repeatedly. One of the cheapest and they've worked every time.
