All of this would depend entirely on your foot and preferences. For me it fits like a regular shoe with just enough softness. I don't wear skechers. sorry

These are my new favorite running shoes, I'm 5'10 260, though I need wide cause Nike narrowness. These are the first Nike that have worked for me in a long time, really like them. They feel like a sturdier NB 1080 or a softer Brooks Ghost to me, sweet spot.
