My kid got the SI Gamma drone and managed to break a prop on the 2nd flight. I contacted the manufacturer who confirmed they do not make replacement parts and I could not find any aftermarket props that fit. Just a FYI for those who have a similar concern.

Im sure you can find replacements from other drones - just make sure they have same diameter and motor shaft hole and number of blades (aliexpress, BG, amazon, ebay, hobbystores, etc.)

I tried 3 different ones from ebay, AE and Amazon and none fit. The drone doesn't come with any specs on parts and all the variables you mention in addition to recessed mount vs flush, etc made it quite a struggle. I couldn't find a single review, Reddit, Facebook post, etc that pointed to a part being the proper fit. Way too much work for a $20 toy. I wish I could find a fit since this level of drone is good for a beginner but without replacement parts it is disposable.

OP edit your post to mention it comes waaaay AFTER Christmas!!
I got this used for $7 at Target eBay outlet store. It's "okay". Propellers come off on impact but you can place them back on. Ultimately the power cord broke (6 year old boy) and it was way more money to replace the power cord than what I paid for it.

It's a cheap, piece of crap drone, but an excellent toy for ~7 year olds to get introduced to a drone.

Thanks for looking into it. I have the SI gamma drone which has a 3 blade prop. Is the proper way to measure a prop the overall diameter or the blade's radius?

Usually, by prop's diameter, number of blades and pitch of the blade, direction of rotation (cw vs ccw), blade shape, tip of blade (e.g. bullnose), etc. Here is a good example of hobbygrade props for sale to get an idea - https://www.racedayquads.com/coll.../all-props
As long as the prop is similar in size and fits onto motor shaft, it should be fine. The drone's flight controller is tuned to work with a specific model of a prop, but I'm sure it should not be an issue with similar prop. Just install CW or CCW prop correctly on each motor.

In case of a drone in this post, it has ducts so is limited of how large in diameter a prop can be installed. Too aggressive of a pitch might cause the motors or electronic speed controller to burn out/overheat. You can measure the motors shaft diameter (lets say 1.0mm or 0.8mm or 1.5mm) and get appropriate prop that fits the duct. 2 bladed props are usually more efficient while 3+ bladed props provide more lift at the cost of more current draw. Just find something that fits the ducts. These props are designed to break and save the rest of the drone.

If the hole in the prop is slightly smaller than the motor's shaft in diameter, you can use an appropriate drill bit to widen the hole by hand.

The shaft is 0.8mm according to the specs on this page:
