Is this still that repackaged mobile game or did they change the source code? I remember there was a controversy a few years ago.

Yes, but there has been an update that has made it much better.

I bought it on Switch 2 during Black Friday and have been enjoying it.
Worth $60? No way, $20, yep.

BTW, it is also this price for digital on Amazon.

I already used my $10 certificate on the red dead redemption 2 game, but if you already have RDR2 this is a solid choice!

At the end of the day, every purchase of this game tells Rockstar that it's absolutely fine to tell the community that they're planning on doing something special for the anniversary of a beloved game, then farming it off to a support studio and doing the absolute minimum, while concealing the quality of the final product up until the release. Putting one of the three games on Game Pass and another on PS Plus day and date almost certainly prevented what would have been a huge consumer backlash if we had gone in blind at the $60 price point.
