damn ... I got lucky back in Oct. Got the same open box excellent for 1,026 + 5% cashback from rakutan for $51. Picked it up in person from best buy outlet which is near my place so even got to inspect it before completing the purchase. Was pretty much brand new, even the sales guy was like "this looks absolutely new, no one even removed the stickers or anything only tested by our best buy people". Laptop has given me no issues so far. Good buy
