256gb has to go. You have about 50gb left by the time you get the laptop setup. Not enough for any real usage. Apple has to stop asking for premium and dish out bare minimum crap like this.

I agree 256gb is on lower side but I still have 100+gb left after setting it up, installing tools like chrome, ms365 apps, etc and my docs, files

Remember that the laptop really slows down once it hits 50gb free space. any boot disk cannot be close to 100% full. Effectively you only have 50 gb now. Don't believe me? Load up a few movie files and see what happens in a few days.

Yep, i have experienced that with ios and macos. I think it is the OS but I got few choices, pay $200 more another 256gb or just make peace with it or take my money elsewhere.
