The last one I bought from Amazon ended up being a very hard to spot counterfeit that gave itself away by not proper keeping time. The 158 series by Casio are heavily counterfeited.

It's sadder that someone would buy a $22 dollar watch that is worthwhile to counterfeit, which means it probably costs just 1 dollar to manufacture.

I've owned these watches for 40 years. They make several small variations, face colors, numeral size, otherwise the same. I have never had one go bad, break, stop functioning. I worked construction from digging, concrete, framing, roofs, siding, elec/plumb, drywall and paint the entire time waring one of these. I never take it off except to clean the backside or replacing with a new unscratched one (every other year). I shower, water ski, tube etc.. in the many I've owned. In drawers, boxes, where ever there is an old one, it still works. Best watch ever for any price to me.
