It's REALLY good. These are a big upgrade from the p30 and 40. I own all three. Better ear fit, better ANC, etc.

Had a liberty nc model which looks similar died in 2 years started to have contacts scratched and connectivity problems

I liked the sound of earlier version more than P30 but it was awkward fit and the tips gave out fast. I'm fine using the P30 at the moment.

About 5 years ago I had a set of earbuds with a case that could charge a phone(bring your own usb), and also a flashlight. Still have it, lost one bud though at MCO airport. I thought it was a great idea. Small battery though, I think I had an LG g8 at the time and it could do probably half a charge. But with that phone, more than enough to finish my long day of flying.

AirPods are 100% worth it. Just better build quality, functionality and audio. You get what you pay for. I have both because I don't like to pair my AirPods to my PC. I use these. They sound hollow and not nearly as immersive as AirPods (i only have the pros - don't know about the regular ones).
