Fun fact maybe a month ago I bought this kit for $113 at microcenter. I actually was a little annoyed cause I felt like 32Gb kits were usually under a $100, it seemed like all the kits were $20 or more than normal. The G.skill and corsair cheapo kits are usually like $80 or less.

*facepalm*

It's so painful. I bought a top quality 64GB kit for something like $150 in June. It's pentupled in price since! RIP upgrade dreams for my gaming machines.

Wish I had a microcenter near me. Some of these bundle prices are almost reasonable!

Either AI is a bubble or it isn't.

Software companies are buying up resources like it isn't a bubble.
Hardware companies aren't ramping up (quickly) because they think it is a bubble.

This is the worst scenario for customers. We should hype up the bubble to it pops harder :p

i bought that kit on ebay last year for like 75, then it was suppose to be like 65-70 but overpaid a bit. now ram prices are nuts. for all the money gov pour into AI data centers like 500 bn, maybe put some of that to lower consumer ram prices for us little guys?

One Battle After Another, Bugonia, Weapons, Bring Her Back, Mickey 17, Eddington, Wake Up Dead Man, Frankenstein, Sinners, Marty Supreme, KPop Demon Hunters, 28 Years Later to name a few.
Not your cup of tea? There was also Zootopia 2, The Running Man, The Long Walk, Predator, F1, Avatar, Die My Love, Roofman, Hamnet, Superman, Thunderbolts, Wicked, Mission Impossible, Caught Stealing, The Fantastic 4, Tron, Final Destination, Spinal Tap, The Phoenician Scheme, Anaconda, Nobody 2, Pillion, Jurassic World, were there 2? (2!) John Wick-CU movies, Warfare, The Naked Gun, Black Phone 2, Companion, Together, How To Train Your Dragon, Lilo & Stitch, Good Boy, Until Dawn, Novocaine, The Monkey, Him, A Minecraft Movie, A Springsteen biopic, Death of A Unicorn, A Happy Gilmore movie for some reason, and probably the worst version of Animal Farm humanity will ever create. You couldn't find 3 movies to really like this year?
What, they didn't make a Bridget Jones movie this year or something? Wait, they DID: Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
We would be lucky to just have the movies from the first paragraph in a single year, let alone such a huge and diverse range of offerings besides that. What could you possibly have to complain about with movies this year? Who is this, Quentin Tarantino?
And if your answer even approaches the word "woke," may you be banished to an eternal struggle session with 500 blue-haired, LGBTQ activists inside a vaccine clinic for all eternity.

What kinda sucks is that there will be no after market for gamers. If its does go boom all those gpus and ram will be server parts, some not even compatible with desktops.

Then again, I'd love a flood of server parts.

We should be getting proper ECC options at consumer prices...

tch, oh the hardware companies are absolutely ramping up production, they are just all in on B2B, they aren't interested in lower margin products for retail consumer products. Take Micron for example, they chop the entire consumer section not because they think it's a bubble, lol
