in game cosmetic I believe. The Amazon credit is the part of the deal that really makes it a deal. As the gamepass bundle for the same price comes with beat saber and batman for $250. Meta support on reddit stated that this amazon bundle does not come with batman, only the gorilla tag cosmetics and quest plus trial. (I think new users get a quest plus trial regardless).
Amazon does have a 256gb model with Batman and an Amazon credit for $349 though. Also should mention that new quest users get a $60 quest cash credit for accepting referral codes before setting up their devices (it is against slickdeals rules to post referral links).

you need to redeem the Digital promotion by January 6th in the Meta app. it should also include 1,000 shiny rocks which is in game currency for more digital cosmetics.

So if you don't care about the Gorilla Tag digital items, this is essentially interchangeable with the current Target deal (just depending on which store you'd rather have a gift card with)?
Are there any reputable online rumors indicating Costco will drop the price back down to $200 for the bundle that comes with a free 12 month game subscription? That seemed like the best deal so far for a 128gb version but I unfortunately missed it.

def use a referal when you sign up a new acct for $60 meta store credit to buy new games and game content. check reddit. also make a new acct instead of using your facebook. some people have got banned from FB for whatever reason and they lost their quest purchases.

So meta and Facebook accounts are different? Could there be linking problems later with other platforms like steam, Xbox, etc?

Meta allows you to create accounts for the headset without a Facebook or Instagram account. Meta accounts can be linked to FB or Insta, but don't have to be.
