The 9070 XT Steel Legend is fairly shitty card pretending to be a "mid-tier" option. Only thing they kinda did right was using Honeywell PTM 7950.
- Low Boost Clock max of 2970MHz (same as the SFF Reaper and other base models.)
- Low quality plastic fan shroud.
- No dual bios.
- Across the board bad results testing gpu temp, vram temps, vrm temps, with paricularly bad issues with hotspot temps.
Just buy an acutal mid-tier 9070 XT like the $630 Powercolor Hellhound. The 9070 XT Steel Legend is fairly shitty card pretending to be a "mid-tier" option. Only thing they kinda did right was using Honeywell PTM 7950.

I still buy their products though. Their 9070s were always reasonably priced and their white model looks great. I would definitely keep buying them as it's quite rare for a computer part to go bad if it works for the first 30 days.
It's not "busted", but I have had instances of severe coil whine. I would probably go back with another brand, or the Asus main line. I may still do it since I'm still in the window.
If anyone is upgrading, I would not wait.
