CNN already tried this to hilarious effect. Almost no one wants to pay for another streaming service, especially for news. It's been a long time, but news used to be provided as a service by the networks, with little bias and almost no commentary. CNN was more like network news, just a 24 hour loop. That all changed when Rupert Murdoch brought us Fox News. Now news is entertainment and the trend is you have to pick a flavor and pay for it. Viewers don't seem to be on board so far. The paying for it part at least.
