Lifetime service agreement- if registered within 90 days of purchase, if at any time the battery goes bad on you, Ridgid will replace it. That's Ridgid's big selling point is their LSA. First hearing this?

This is true for me. I have two 4 AH for thirstier items like the shop vac and fan, but when I'm rotating tires with the ugga dugga, using a light for a short period of time or the drill, it will be nice to save some weight.

1.5 ah....good price but worthless for operating time duration.
Sometimes lighter is better. I only have 4ah and 6ah batteries and I'm picking up a couple for lightweight use situations.

Great price.

Agree it's a small capacity and it's also their basic/low output variety. But it has its uses for sure.

For most users, this battery is more than enough for small jobs. This is the lowest price that I have ever seen on this size battery. I have multiple 2Ah and 4Ah batteries. These are so light, I might have to pick up 1 or 2.

Pretty good deal on their sequential charger with two max-output 4.0s... https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../331415744

These work perfectly fine at 1.5 Ah. Two came with my drill and if I even needed the second, it was on the charger. Seamless.

I have one of the older (still brushless) subcompact 3/8" impacts that I use for tire rotations. I find that I have to use a 4 or 6ah high output battery to remove lugs at the end of winter when they're a little corroded and the like. 2ah won't do it. IMO sometimes bigger batteries are needed even when you don't need extended run time.

Was thinking the same thing. Then I remember Ridgid have Heated Jackets that runs of these pack, so I guess this is a good option for a backup.

Appears you missed the memo. Here it is again.
Ryobi, Ridgid (portable power tools) and Milwaukee are all made by the same company, TTI. However, only Ridgid offera a lifetime "warranty" via their LSA. Provided you register online within 90 days. If you bought a combo, tool, battery and charger, you'll end up entering each serial number and have a chance to upload a copy of the receipt. Your LSA will state pending until verified. If you are getting close to the 90 days, best to ring them and they should verify on the spot. Now, if you ever have an issue with the tool, battery or charger, they'll service and or replace the item. Be sure to re-register the replacement item to continue the LSA.
TLDR: Buy once, never have to buy again, provided you can follow directions.
