It seems $199 is going to be the lowest advertised price this holiday season.

I didn't expect it but was hoping to approach the $169 of the AirPod Pro 2s last Christmas.

last year the airpods 2 were mid product lifecycle. that is why they dropped that low.

Dumb question, but what's the return policy on these things from vendors like Amazon / Target after they've been opened and tried on, and is it different from buying from Apple (or Costco since they let you return almost anything)? I want to try these things but the 2's didn't stay in my ears very well. Hopeful the new partial foam ear tips would help. But obviously Amazon / Target can't resell as new some earbuds that were in someone's ear and then returned. Haha.

It could be that you don't have access to the deal. I'm trying to find the thread that showed exactly how to do it but I can't find it. But you have to create a wishlist in your target account. After you add the item to your newly created wishlist, you then add the item to your cart from your wishlist and the discount should apply.

I also saw them on sale for 189.99 at Walmart a few days ago too. I'm sure that sale will come back before Christmas. Just keep your eyes peeled.
