The pour spout trim, opening area and lid interior is plastic. Good price though for occasional use but for everyday I think stainless steel is a better choice.

I bought this last πŸŽ„ on sale and it's been my favorite 🎁 to myself!! I use it about 3X a week and it's super fast to make boiling πŸ’¦ for pour over β˜• or 🍡. Best $15 self-gift I've ever bought! Easier than microwave. It has auto shut off so I can flip it on and go do other stuff while it heats up and flips off.

Hamilton Beach 1.7 liter is my favorite. I like the glass ones so I can watch the water boil and the Hamilton Beach has blue lights at the bottom and looks cool. The glass Chefman is good also but smaller 1.2 liter. You'll be happy with it especially if you've never had an electric kettle before. It becomes essential. I bought it for tea but use it for cooking everything.

I have the 1.2L and it's perfect for my needs: boiling half filled is more than enough for coffee, tea, pasta, oatmeal, etc. No issue with spout, never spills. Remember to clean the scum guard regularly.

I had the 1.7 or 1.8 version. The interior bottom of kettle rusted after a year or so.
The metal they use is corrosive.
The plastic at top the stayed looking the same but who knows how much micro plastics we absorbed.

Surprising this brand has generally good reviews when their products are flawed by quality and design .

I bought this last summer for the same deal to replace some other Chinese no brand from Amazon deal. This glass is much thicker and overall looks a quality item better than my previous Chinese one with noticeably thinner glass that easily broke. This one survived one fall but with tiny scratch Crack but usable. On these, cleaning the bottom tea stains is much easier with metal scrubber than on my previous kettle I mentioned. Also it boils water in seconds much faster than the other. I will be buying again cheman

Yep bought and returned because of plastic lid.

I have this stainless steel pot for more than two years now. It's well made, no issues at all. It's smaller however.
