I got 1 from Walmart it too long ago, $599 +tax, with a 5050. I think I got $120 back from using PayPal. So I guess the total including tax was $500.

Is this $899 with a 5060 a better deal? Big difference between the two cards?

Got it for my 10 year old, so I need it to last at least 6 years. He only plays Roblox and Xbox online now.

5050 good enough?

The RTX 5060 is significantly more powerful than the RTX 5050, offering about 30-40% more performance due to more CUDA cores and RT cores, making it better for demanding games at 1080p/1440p, while the 5050 is a capable but entry-level GPU, essentially a step down for budget builds, with the 5060 generally considered a better value despite the higher cost for a noticeable gaming uplift. Both often feature 8GB VRAM, but the 5060's core advantage translates to much higher frame rates and smoother experiences, especially with DLSS and ray tracing
