Just looking into battery snow blowers - this shows (1) 4.0 Ah battery and (1) 2.0 Ah battery. Can you run both of these battery in the snow blower at the same time? This seems like a great deal to me but honestly I'm just starting to look into these. I live in lower MI and we normally get our fair share of snow but I've always used a small gas powered snow blower previously and it has worked fine. Is this a good brand and a good deal?

I saw the photo but I wasn't sure if you need to have either (2) 4.0 or (2) 2.0 and no mix or match. I've been fooled before with a photo, lol.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank helicopter2

Just ordered, so it probably won't snow for the rest of the season

I am going to assume if they show two batteries, and the blower sells with a 4 and a 2, then logically, you'd be able to use those two batteries.

I already have an 80v 4a and a 2a for my Mower/Blower combo, so this is just extra batteries and a snowblower for cheap!

Edit: bought one.

That's usually how it works LOL In south NJ, we got 6 inches last weekend. Hopefully we get 1-2 more drops of a few inches so I can actually use this

These can work but depends on how much you need to snow blow and how deep it is. Gas is still the best but you got to keep up on maintenance. Also gas machines can last a real long time while batteries can go bad in a few years and are very expensive. In Michigan this could work but keeping the gas one would be a good idea.

I believe it only runs on one battery at a time, but it has a storage slot for a spare second battery. AFAIK, the only Greenworks tools that run dual batteries are the 48V line (2x24V).

I have the 20" version, and I can clear my paths, driveway, sidewalk, and two neighbors' public sidewalks on a 4Ah battery with 4-6" of snow.

If you live in Minnesota, Xcel Energy is offering a $100 rebate that applies to this snow blower, making it an extremely good deal.
