Honestly, I would wait for another month. Intel is releasing the Ultra 2 refresh mid January 2026. The refresh fixes a few of the issues the Ultra 2's had since being launched. I am waiting for the refresh and I am sure Micro Center will have similar deals. I hope lol

I almost did a similar deal in October but I wound up with 9800x3d combo instead.

Keep in mind these combos don't come with a heatsink, so plan on another $40+ on a decent dual tower / dual fan air cooler like the Peerless Assassin or the CM Hyper 620. I've used both and both are decent. Liquid cooling is not really necessary as long as your case has ok airflow.
