best buy geek squad protection

I have a question for those who have dealt with geek squad protection. I have a pc monitor that is giving me issues but has geek squad protection. I plan on taking it in this weekend and was wondering what to expect. A swap for a newer monitor or credit to purchase a new monitor. It's almost 3 years into the 4 year coverage plan. Thanks

Geek squad protection is a scam, just throw it away. I'm surprised anyone still bothers with best buy.

bring it in and see what they say it may well be they will send it out for repair or if allowed just refund the money you paid fore the warranty. Model number and the issue would help. Since it is possible prices have gone down they may just offer you an equivalent one. Read your contract to see what the options are.
