EDIT: correction.. Deluxe 30% off, Premier 28% off. So even tho I finally(?) got a discount offer from Fidelity, they're just telling me they love me the same as Amazon loves everyone
EDIT2: looking at CCC, lowest price for the 2024 version was late Jan/early Feb.. is that typical?
For example, since I only have the 25% off, the deluxe download with state is $52.50, so $32.50 after the Amex offer.
Moral dilemma.. won't be upgrading to Windows 11, personal choice.. I also loathe the online TurboTax version, hence me buying Desktop. Do I install Windows 11 on a VM and go that route, or switch to freetaxusa..

This seems deceptive to price it 2 different ways.

It also appears to be the online version which for me is not useful since I do my tax returns, one for each of my two kids, and one for the demented aunt I take care of. I pay once for the install and mail the returns that aren't free file.
I have what I consider a lot with them (low seven digits) but I manage it myself. I suspect managed accounts that pay ~1% get it.
