The 50" won't do 144hz at 1080p/1440p, but all the other sizes will (if that matters to you).

Just got the 55", if you care slightly about picture quality, this is a good baseline tv. The google tv interface is very snappy too

Hmmm... the 75" for $650 or spend and extra $100 on the QM6K? Seems like it might be worth splurging a bit more for the higher model.

Lowest I've seen it on Slickdeals. It made the FP last month at $330.

Bought this last month for $280, it's a great bedroom TV. Works good in a darker room, great picture at this price. Gaming, if you're a snob, don't buy it for that purpose. You'll just nit pick it to death and break another controller.

I own two of the 55" models, and they are FANTASTIC for this price. They hang right with my QM7's up to a point. Cannot get bright in HDR like the 7 series can but have the SAME panel as the QM6k. In fact, they get a little brighter than the 6 series which I consider to be not worth the money.

Anyone know if this will go cheaper during Super Bowl sale or when they get fazed out for 2026 models? I'm asking for those who in the past haven't pulled the trigger on a TV till they get down to it's lower price, I'm assuming you Slick Deals veteran TV bargain hunters would know.

Agree. This TV is phenomenal for the money.

We have a handful or so of 5 yr old basic edge-lit LG/Samsung TVs. I replaced one of them with the 50" QM5K and was so impressed that I went out and replaced most of the rest of them with this model (a combination of 50" and 55" sizes.) It's super bright (almost too bright), has great colors, great contrast, surprisingly good built-in sound, and VRR up to 4K/60. It's considerably cheaper than what I paid for a basic 4K TV in 2020 money (not even factoring inflation and tariffs) and considerably better. TVs have to be one of the few things dramatically beating inflation.

I have an old 75" TV that I want to replace. I'm considering the 85" QM5K ($800) but waiting to see what happens to the pricing of the 98" QM6K and QM7K (QM5K not sold in this size.)

Looking at 65" for $550, how does this compare to Samsung S90F OLED? I know obviously OLED would be better at $1200, double the price, but this will be something to use for a long time, so if needed I can spend the extra $600. Trying to decide if it's worth to get OLED.

Split the difference and get the 65" QM7K at $900? Given how quickly these appear to be dropping, I wonder if it's really worth it to future proof over just buying another TV in this class sooner.

Same, wished I waited instead of buying it at $330...

If you're using Dolby Vision Standards everbody else uses, DON'T get any Samsung - period the end. OLED LG/Sony for the win on longevity eye happiness otherwise

Does anyone know if you have to allow this TV access to the internet in order to set it up and use it? I'll mostly use it to connect an OTA antenna, and use a mini pc connected to one of the HDMI ports for internet access and apps. I don't need any of the smart features, and I don't want to bring a spying device into my home just so TCL can phone home all my data.
