Man just I checked out few online reviews. This is a great laptop for this price. Only drawback I read was poor speakers, dumb ai logo s, and a too small numpad. Other than that it's great. Tempting lol. I just got a MacBook Air 15 though for 800 ish after PayPal in 4. Will I still like this?

This is a great deal for that screen alone. Could be a hair brighter but other than that this is solid.

Site says 3.37 pounds. It does have an aluminum case.

It's funny how Apple just can't manage to put an OLED screen in a laptop, but here we are with a $650 modern laptop with a 3K 120Hz OLED screen! They're always taking forever to make something better instead of just using today's tech today and work on something better at the same time.

I own this (in fact, I'm typing on it now). It's a fantastic daily laptop.

It's metal, very light for its size, has a fantastic display, great keyboard (the num pad is a bit small, but I'm writing about the typing experience) and trackpad, adequate and very fast RAM (reports as 8533 MT/s), a Lunar Lake Ultra 7 that gives it incredible battery life for a Windows machine, ARC 140V integrated graphics that are easily powerful enough for typical photo and some video editing, and powerful enough to play the games I like to play at well over 60fps (eg. Insurgency: Sandstorm, Dirt Rally/Rally 2 and similar)...there is really very little not to like about this laptop.

A few things to note:

The AI light up logo on the trackpad is off by default, so for those complaining about it, you never have to actually see it light up if you don't want to.

It's got an extra slot for another SSD, which is always nice.

Acer does have a reputation for their not great speakers. They aren't redeeming themselves here, but you can tweak settings to have them sound MUCH better than they do out of the box.

Acer takes a lot of crap from online computer communities as a budget brand, but the truth is, they build very good laptops for their pricepoints. I have access to dozens of laptops (for reasons that don't matter), and the Acers I use are definitely not worse than others, and in fact, are much better than some other manufacturers I could name but will not.

Thanks for the on hand review! Curious if it would run Diablo 4 okay. Thx!

How are the hinges? Metal or plastic. I heard new hinges are breaking on Acer and l really need to replace mine. Thanks

I don't own Diablo 4, but there are videos on YouTube of people running it with this processor/integrated graphics at over 60fps. I saw one video of a guy running it on an Acer Swift 14 with the Ultra i5/130V graphics also. I imagine you'd be fine, though you may have to tone down some settings/resolution.

Don't quote me but I believe the hinges are metal.

Yeah so true. But with a Mac you do pay for quality. They may not use the most advanced parts but they are high quality built. Everything is so nicely put together. With this Acer I just worry about how long they will last. I've had problem before with laptops and it's a pain to have to send in.

Anyone know if this is the same chassis as the Acer Perspire or Aspire? Damn Acer has some many names. Swift, Go, AI wth. Confusing. Seems lots of acers go for this price range with either more ram or the Oled screen
