I tried one of these but had issues with slow loading and slow scrolling through apps. It works for now, but I've had streaming devices that start to slow over time. Return for the 4K stick.

What are the reasons to get a ROKU? Chromecast TVs just WORK for me, plus perfect Casting from my devices. I know Firestick is for the side loading Apps people..
But what are the reasons for ROKU, just CHEAP and EASY?

Google doesn't sell the cheap chrome casts anymore. Our 5 year old remote is having issues.
Don't want more bezos devices.

For me, it's because SpectrumTV streaming is supported on Roku while Chromecast and Firesticks don't.

Another reason YTTV is King! We have Spectrum for internet, we are always on the $30/100 mbps now, used to always be on the $50/300 mpbs intro deals for 6 years in a row. My wife and I have different last names, so once a year we cancel and sign up again for the intro deal!
Now that they offer $30 lower tier in our area, works for us, plenty of speed for working from home and streaming on 2 TVs at the same time. So max we spend is $110 per month for internet and Live TV..

oh man, I had noticed no more cheap Chromecast TV deals! Lucky I stocked up bigtime! Everytime those cheap chromecasts cost less than a new Remote ($20) I BOUGHT! Those remotes do crap out, wish they would redo the Remote..
