Many games won't fit on the 64GB Switch 2 cartridge. FF7 Remake Intergrade, for example, is ~95GB. IMO GKC still trumps pure digital, especially in instances like this.
For those complaining, I'd still rather have the Key card copies than a straight digital. If you resell, and I often do, the key cards work for the new owner. You just need the cart to access the digital version. It may not be ideal, but it's an option that straight digital doesn't give you.

Ok sure. Then what's the advantage over physical? They can cancel that digital license at any time. They can't do that with physical. It really does hearten me to see so many people caring about this issue and voting with their dollars. Send a clear message to Nintendo and other publishers that we don't like GKC.

Then put it on two cartridges. No reason they can't do that.

Their carts only go to 64gb? Seems like Nintendo created this problem. They could also fix this problem by creating 128gb carts for these larger games…
It's a decent game, but with so many stronger titles out there, I'd save your money unless you're a big enthusiast and have played a ton of RPGs already.

It's almost as if Nintendo intentionally made their Switch 2 cartridges only 64GB so nobody can own anything?!.. gasp!🫢 Honestly, I don't know why they didn't just make Switch 2 (or heaven forbid 🫢 Switch 2's successor) a digital only console like PlayStation did
