I've had mine for a bit and absolutely love it. It's a beast and one of the best Milwaukee tools I have.

Is this commonly referred to as the "super sawzall" the latest one, or an older model?
I can't see the model number

HD has a promotion if you buy 6ah batteries and charger. Amazon has same batteries and charger set as well for same final price with the tool. But Amazon gives 5-8% rewards points. Ordered. Thanks.

No the super sawzall literally says super sawzall on it. This is not it.

This is newer, lighter, faster, and shorter than the Super model.

most everywhere i talk tools online cautions to stay far, far away from amazon for milwaukee tools due to the high rate of counterfiet items, but it seems like slickdeals does not care in the slightest. im not trying to give anyone advice, but more wondering what y'all have to say about that.

also, any input on sawzall vs hacksaw? i have the hacksaw and its worked fine for me. not sure if i should be considering the sawzall to compliment it or just keep rocking the hack saw and use my ryobi sawzall if i ever need it.

I've always gotten my Milwaukee stuff from HD. If I have issues with anything, their customer service has always taken care of me (although I haven't had any problems with Milwaukee specifically). Plus, if I have to go to Milwaukee, I'd assume warranty may be easier.

I have the M18 Fuel Hackzall. There are probably some situations where the form factor of this one would be more advantageous, and vice versa. But, my Hackzall has been a beast and handles what I've been throwing at it, no prob.

Sawzall will be for bigger jobs. It can basically go through a 4x4 wood easily. If you haven't experienced the raw power of a sawzall it just means your jobs have been too small
