Wow these memory prices are out of control. I paid $849 for this with the Gigabyte X870E board and 64GB Corsair CL30 memory back in August of this year. Now it's $1449 with the same memory and MB. a 71% increase. The system is great, stupid fast but don't know if I would shell out that type of money. I'll say it again. these memory prices are crazy.

I have this combo with a 9800X3D.

This board is very unstable in my experience, took me forever just to get it stable at the stock EXPO and PBO levels. It has had multiple driver related crash issues, intermittently just won't boost the CPU for whatever reason.
The last BIOS update is from September and all BIOS revisions have "bad" AGESA versions (1.2.0.3d-1.2.0.3g).
I'm probably going to return it before my 15 days is up.

Unless you have a weak 1080p graphics card, go with the 265KF bundle, only $530 and equal app performance to the 9950. Just got done building and tuning mine, quiet and stable.

I got this combo. I have the 285k combo from micro center as well. I'm torn on which to keep. It's about a $100 difference between the two. During Bf it was a $250 difference. I have another 15 days before I need to return the 285k. But no problems with undervolting the 9950 though. Works great at -15 curve.
What I don't love is the fact I have to use all of the tuners(process lasso) to get the game schedules to work right. I also have a Rtx 5090.

It appears like it. I was benching cp2077 and it seemed ok. But then I set the affinities manually and got another 30fps. So windows is not scheduling this well.
I'm probably over analyzing but I just want the "best" for me over the next 3-4 years. Haven't used AMd since the athlon days and am coming from a i9 10850k so all these procs will destroy that combo.
