Nevermind, cancelled my order, bad recent reviews. Users say they rip on the side

Not as good as the Sam's bags but good enough to get by. I do stuff them. They are thin. At this price I'm in for two.

I've had a good experience with them. No problems for me. I just put standard kitchen trash in there and I don't overfill them or cram things in the trash so maybe that's the difference??

I usually don't overstuff but if 1 in 200 even rips, thats 1 too many for me. In all years, never had 1 Costco bag rip or drip. I'd rather pay more for a price of mind.

These bags were trash! Pun intended and that's the only thing I found amusing about these. I ended up using them when I needed to put down something for craft projects. The bags ripped when putting them into the can, when taking them out of the cans, when tying the strings. The first one, the string broke and I thought, "oh maybe I did something wrong". Nope! These were literally garbage. I usually buy Glad or Costco brand. I took a chance and now I have that experience to share.

Yeah. As the others have said, be careful with these. My normal arrangement is to pull them from the center of the roll and when I did, the seam completely split upon opening maybe a half dozen bags (at least, I haven't even pulled out enough to find any good ones when starting from the center.) I tried one from the outside of the roll and it seemed ok. Fingers crossed, but will never buy these again. I'm sorry I cheated on you, Costco. 🙁

I bought these last time, literally every single bag in 3 of the 4 rolls tore on the side. Literally over 400 of the 600 bags I ordered. The machine that seals the bags on the sides must've been offset so one side had an inch on the other side of the seam, and the other side was either a total whiff, or so close to the edge that when you shake the bag to fill with air, that's enough to blow the bag right open on the side... air.

I had absolutely no problem with my purchase previously. I will buy again. Are these Hefty? No, but does the job it's supposed to.

Bag is good but careful with the draw straps. They break easily.

I had bought these years ago and they were very good bags. Then I got them again this year 2025 not the same bags. The handles constantly come off the bag rips just not worth it. I'd much rather get them at Costco or home Depot and that's what I got last time. The home Depot bags were pretty good

I have to agree with this poster. These used to be good bags but they changed and now when you tie the knots it just breaks the red band and the bags are just very brittle. They don't stretch or give as much as they used to in the past. I take a hard pass on these. I'll never buy them again
