Whenever i need a video of some event, it will never be there. Or if it will be it will be it will be so short i can never understand what i need. So overall, i would say both are similarly useless.

We have been running this since then and I have been really impressed. Picture quality is excellent, the microphone and speaker are both plenty for what you need them for, and while I thought it was gimmicky, the package area notifier is really pretty convenient.
Totally worth it.
There was a promotion for purchasing from the eufy site via PayPal where you would save quite a bit more, I think it was like 30%? I'm not sure if it's live anymore, but worth checking.

My old doorbell, also a Eufy, wired only version, didn't have any issues for a entire week at -15-20°F......It's disappointing because you have to use the battery pack to even have it in wired mode but it doesn't even work if the battery is dead or too cold to function.....It's a stupid design.
Plus the IR night vision mode is inferior to my old doorbell. My old doorbell can see out to 15 feet, this one barely sees out to 5 feet. In short, it's a upgrade in daytime resolution, Homebase 3 compatibility but a huge downgrade in nighttime visibility and functionality or lack of any in colder temperatures. I do NOT recommend this doorbell.
