New Balance's 2002R comes across as a stable, good quality sneaker with a 990 and 993 feel at a much lower price. The deal is strongest for the comfort and old school New Balance look, and the shoe is described as a pair that gets worn often. Fit is the main watchout, since the listed D width is the only standard option here and the men's version is described as running more like a unisex fit with a tighter toe area. Free shipping and the XTRA20 coupon also appear inconsistent at checkout, so the final cost may vary.

The price is great, but it has "Width: D - Medium" only.

The only place I've found 2E width is direct from the New Balance website. Even their stores don't carry wide.

These are nice shoes but the men's version are actually unisex and are not traditional D width so greater chance your pinky toes will rub against the upper. Women's are the exact same color

Great shoe. I have a pair in grey. I wear these more than my 993's. Wish it was a different color

And that's bad ? We are supposed to have bigger toe boxes . 99% of shoes are made so your toes are cramped. You don't notice probably but when you take off your shoes after hours of use I'm sure you're toes look cramped a bit compared to being barefoot

I previously bought the 2002R for $60 during another deal a month or so ago. I was an idiot and bought them a size too large and didn't return them. They are nice, stable sneakers and seem like good quality. At this even lower price I'm going to buy a couple of pairs for next summer.

I ordered these in 2 different sizes, in both the Ice Wine/Dream State/Sea Stone, and the True Red/Black colors. The True Red/Black is $69.99 per pair but the 20% off coupon applies, so $55.99 after. If you sign up for a free FLX account you get free shipping, and FREE RETURNS, so I plan on returning the 2 pairs that don't fit.

These are old school New Balance like the popular 990/993 styles. They feel very similar in fit, stability, and quality.

That is the standard width for New Balance shoes.

I was trying to order a pair but it says that it's excluded from free shipping after I log in. Before I logged there was a message prompting me to log in or sign up for free shipping. Anyone else experiencing this?
