Got this for my mom and is totally ok for her to use. This is the perfect phone for older parents to use as they don't do much with it other than some YouTube, Facebook and some candy crush.

Also good for teenagers so they can't do much with it but enough to keep them connected and for us to get in touch with them...lol

I paid $90(in Cali) after tax. Sell the FitBit for some cash and the phone you can easily sell for like $80-100 next year. You won't lose money on this.

Does it support esim? If not, any workaround?

A16 doesn't have esim, only workaround is a sim card that lets you load an esim onto it

Good deal for anyone who doesn't have to have the latest phone and doesn't stare at it 24/7/365.

After 2 moths on a basic Tracfone plan which is included in the deal. It automatically unlocks and you can use it with a pSIM or eSIM of your chosing. I buy one of these cheap Samsung phones every year to use as a spare. For this price you cant go wrong.

can we downgrade the plan without forfeiting the amount paid for the plan to use for the downgraded plan?

Does unlocked tracfone phone work with overseas providers in India or Europe? I recall I had one 2 years back unlocked tracfone but didn't recognize local sim card in India. Do I need to factory reset after unlocking? Appreciate any guidance.
