Bought one of these and one of the USB ports was Dead on arrival. They actually refunded the money and did not ask me to send it back. But I don't use any of the USB ports on anyways. Basically like an extension cord.

bought a 100W version for $28.69 a few months ago. With the new phones, 35W too slow if you plug multiple devices.

You guys are going about it the wrong way. You should be treating this as a surge protector with a few USB ports. A bit expensive but you are paying for the display. Then plug your high watts laptop/phone charger separately in to it.

That's a really solid point. People need to think of this as surge protector with USB ports, not so much a USB fast charging hub with a surge protector. Different yard sticks.

That being said, I would prefer the 100W version but not at that $100 price. For $21 I think this is still pretty great for traveling, just might not replace your turbo charger...nor does it appear to be trying to. But if you don't need fast charging, this will do just fine for charging your devices in fast or 'normal.'

Nearly 2026 even! The only people buying this are people who don't know what they're looking at.

That one doesn't have the power measurements, for people who want that.

The 100W goes on sale sometimes. I bought it on Dec 6 with the free USB charger promo and there was a clip coupon in the page for total price of $36.

Indeed. I see something like this and think about my entertainment wall. My clock, firetv, and security camera can all use the usb.
