My 7yo son (6 at the time of play through) and I played through Cat Quest 2 for Nintendo Switch and ended up really liking it. Lots of puns, and the gameplay was surprisingly fun. I'll have to snag a couple keys for us as well. Hope you and your daughter enjoy it!

Fantastic value for the game. I played through it on Steam a few months back; the core campaign can be played completely co-op or solo and you can finish it in 8-10 hours depending on how many of the side quests and achievements you go for. It also has a very robust post-game where you can replay the game with various modifiers to obtain rewards and further achievements (although I don't think there is new content, but cannot 100% recall).
Either way, a very good bargain and a lot of fun solo or with a partner. The cat and pirate puns are strong with this one!

I played 1 and 2 by myself(a 34 year old man) and had a great time. After about 5 hours or so it gets repetitive but the gameplay loop is just fun enough to keep me entertained, might get this one.

Very fun game. I think this was easier than Cat Quest 2. Compared to 2 there are ships, secondary weapons (guns), and a bit less focus on magic. I think the story is a bit less interesting than 2. Overall it was a lot of fun to play with my 9 year old son.

First Cat Quest had my daughter and I hooked. Second one was the best since we could play together! 3rd was ok, still fun but seemed a bit of a mess of content unlike the second.
