I am. Enameling is a toxic process that usually involves lead. Country of origin is unknown which usually means China. In an effort to cut costs I'm betting most of these no-name companies take shortcuts. Not for me and my family.

Dont buy any no name cast iron off Amazon. Lead or not, the quality and seasoning is terrible. I had to toss my small pot after 2 uses since the coating came off and into my food both times

The temperature required to liquify and to make cast iron pans will vaporize lead, so there is no worry of lead contamination in the original posted product. Ceramic coatings can have lead, though it is easy to test for with cheap lead test sticks available on Amazon.
As regards Chinese cast iron having bad seasoning, that is easy to fix by performing proper seasoning technique yourself prior to using it which should also be done on American cast iron. You can find many similar methods by doing an internet search for cast iron seasoning.

For black iron it really doesn't matter. For enameled iron (the colored ones) I wouldn't buy anything besides Staub or Le Ceuset.
I say that not bc of lead, but bc enamel will always crack eventually and those two companies have real warranties.
For the plain cast iron, if you were really worried, you could strip and season yourself.
