Lifep04 is great. All those other jump starters use lithium ion and don't last.

Tough choice between this and the other LOKITHOR deal (also posted by the same OP). Either go with LiFePO4 on this or the LiPo with included battery testing capability on the other.

In for one, went with this instead of the other listing unit, since this has a battery that'll hold a better charge without having to recharge. Battery health aspect I anticipate will be covered if/when AAA is called etc. anyway

LiFePO4 isn't great for jump starting. That's why you can't use LiFePO4 for car batteries. I would be wary of this one if you have a diesel or hard to start car, or live in a cold climate. This would make a better power pack than a jump starter.

Small size Lifepo4 isn't great for jump starting compare to their Lipo counterparts. Your second point is incorrect. Larger Lifepo4 is definately up to the task of jump starting car. They are more capable than Lead Acid for same capacity in that regards. The reason they are not used for car batteries is because they cannot do all weather condition (too cold or too hot).
