I got it let's see how it holds up. It's replacing an older black one I had that doesn't have auto rotate on the display that my young son lost as he thinks it's a toy on the fridge.

How it the experience with ThermoMaven thermometers? I own several brands and I want to give it a shot to this one as they claim measurements are really fast and have NIST certification.

So far so good. Faster than the ThermoPro TP605 I had before. The Thermomaven is constantly measuring every second from what I saw using it. It updates really fast it takes I would say 2-3 seconds to lock to the actual temp of whatever you're measuring and goes down to the decimal which is nice. I like that the displays rotates so I don't have to worry about how I'm holding it because of the buit-in gyro.
