I have my Logitech adapter, Yubikey, and Xbox controller adapter in it, so it's right there, with one open spot for a thumb drive.
Adding power to this would mean an extra cable; the point is to plug it into the back of the monitor, so there aren't any visible cables.
One thing I would add is to make sure you have a nice thick bezel where you are clamping it, and squeeze firmly with your fingers there first, to ensure it doesn't cause any backlight bleed or discoloration with the monitor. Not too hard but enough to simulate the pressure from this. Its firm but soft still.
Overall, I was not sure when I bought this, but so glad I did, huge convenience upgrade.

It's only 10Gbps but, that's about the best one can get without going to TBT or USB4.
Sadly, 20gbps USB3.2Gen2 2x2hubs seem to have only briefly existed on the market, and disappeared. I have a StarTech example but, 'The Internet' doesn't seem to believe it ever existed...
I had multipul units fail after a few months. I gave up on getting them. They are cool because you can clamp them to the side of the desk, but as for reliability, i have more faith in my dog not stealing a freshly cooked steak unattended then these guys lasting more then 1 yr.
