When Earth falls under attack from invincible aliens, no military unit in the world can beat them. Maj. William Cage (Tom Cruise), an officer who has never seen combat, is assigned to a suicide mission. Killed within moments, Cage finds himself thrown into a time loop, in which he relives the same brutal fight and his death over and over again. However, Cage's fighting skills improve with each encore, bringing him and a comrade (Emily Blunt) ever closer to defeating the aliens. Yeah. Reloaded page and/or switch tabs to my cart and then, BAM, 7.99.
I have a bad feeling that this may be the new norm. Dynamic FU pricing with potential AI tracking to squash out our deal-seeking kind. I guess when we start to hear stories about how walmart was tracking a guy paying cash in-store with AI, it's all down hill from here. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of this next level stuff, but this is creeping me out a bit.
I enjoyed this movie. I appreciate original ideas. There aren't a lot out there anymore it seems. A lot of bad remakes seems to be the norm now.
alas they aren't exactly original ideas, it's based on "all you need is kill" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All...ed_Is_Kill, which i just saw is getting a movie adaption coming out early next year
anyway, still love this movie! the 3d was excellent, and anyone who doesn't like tom cruise can see him die over and over again! and emily blunt, mmm
