The receipt on my Costco account didn't show AppleCare.

It showed form of payment as a debit card (not mine as I paid instacart with AMEX). If you return in store, I would assume they will just refund back to instantcart's debit card unless they offer a refund to shop card option.

Some retailers do track by serial#. Not sure about Costco.

Bro life is short you are worried about scratching it. Chromebook will not be as fast or reliable as macbook air. I bought my mom a. chromebook for youtube watching at the same time i got my M1 air. I am typing this on my M1 and ive had to buy her a new chromebook the other one died and her latest one the mouse pad stopped working and she is having to use a mouse now. There is a reason chrome books are 100-200.

Macbook Pro is better because it is usually faster and reserved for those that actually use the computer for work for example video editing.

If you are just a regular person that will be using it for youtube / netflix / browse the net then you should get the macbook air as the mac book pro is. few hundred dollars more

I have a valid costco membership and when I try to log in via the sameday.costco.com home page, it redirects me to this link: https://sameday.costco.com/store/...vated=true

I have cleared all cookies/etc and have never had any issues with Costco.

So I just got off the phone with India call center for Instant cart. If you have never ordered from Instantcart, their partnership with Costco.com allows them to create a new InstantCart account for you. The thing is, they force you to verify your account by requiring you to send in a picture of your driver's license. Then some guy in India will review in 2-3 weeks and let you know their decision.
Instacart is a literal scumbag company. I called my local Costco and even they said they hate dealing with them.
