Why would a light need a high output battery

I can't think of anything dumber than a floodlight that runs on a 12V battery.

I don't think the 2.5Ah M12's come in anything other than HO. They're trying to balance capacity with form factor here. This is a solid deal, esp if you have other tools and some of the 1.5's or 2.0's for this and can use the HO on stuff that matters. If this is your only Milwaukee tool, well... good start to your collection.

Then buy a rechargeable light that eventually won't recharge anymore when you need it, atleast with this you don't need a dedicated battery and most likely already have tools that also use the same batteries

this box can fit any of the m12 batteries in it, like the 5ah. I can't say this design is really for me, but it could make sense as an emergency roadside kit with some wrenches in the box? if I had a packout stack maybe it would make more sense, but otherwise this thing seems bulky to me

I'd say i agree with op of this question. Because I have the M18 pack out version, I barely run one charge per use. On the other hand, who says that HO battery can only be used on the light.
