I own this one. My daughter has the Ikea version but Ikea's not exactly easy to get to, so when this came up I hopped on it cuz my son needs one too. Well, some things to keep in mind...
  1. The hardware isn't great... All 4 of the cam lock fasteners broke. Wasn't even tightening hard, they snapped about half way through the turn.
  2. One of the long pieces had holes drilled in it that didn't line up with the sides no matter how hard you tried. Compared to the other piece, the holes were about a quarter inch too low and to the right...had to drill new holes.
  3. There is NOTHING to keep those X pieces into the cubbies except friction. You literally just place them in there and pray that they don't come out while you're using the shelf. Awful design.
Overall, I wouldn't buy this one again knowing what I know now. The Ikea version of this shelf is vastly superior in every way.
