Check the sizes with your most frequent airlines.
The largest one does not fit United allowed baggage size for checked, for example.
The Carry-On would fit perfectly.
I have the og Omni medium size and it's been pretty solid. Four round trip flights since I bought it about a year ago. I even stuffed it with over a hundred pounds of gear on one trip and it held up great. My only complaint is that silver color makes every scratch or wheel mark really stand out. I can't imagine the Omni 2 being much different.
Heck yes! I got the omni2 3pqck years ago on woot and theyre awesome. Been wanting another set. Carribean blue won't even go on sale again, so midnight black it is! Thanks op!!
I have one set and after a few extended trips, bought a second to replace my wife's set. it has survived many a suitcase throw from the airline baggage folk or me tossing it into the rental car. it does have some small scratches but that's normal wear and tear. wheels, zippers and shell are all in tact.
They are very good, and this price is hard to beat.
I just bought a single Quince hard side medium luggage for $140. Anyone know if this is better? 3 pieces for just a bit more seems like maybe a smarter move.
The enemy is ABS construction which is more likely to crack. This is said to be better but things happen.
I see, I think thickness matters a lot too, but probably thicker it is, heavier it will be. I don't usually see thickness or gauge in luggage specs. I was going to buy similar Samsonite at BJs but the sizes were really weird. I realized that both the carry on and check insides were way too small but that was 2 pack.
Regarding largest ones, like 30", generally the issue with those is not running out of space but the getting them too heavy. So the largest one is good for road trips I guess.

Why is the one in this thread better than this which looks 1000% better and is 100% polycarbonate?
