Rat traps can get very messy because they have a lot more tension/power

The mouse version of these suck, compared to the old school ones. You need to tie the trap to something or the mouse will drag it away. It's not an instant death. It's a little better if you remove the red plastic sleeve from the wire, but still need to tie it to something. My advice is stick to the original wood ones.

THANKS!!! I was just looking into these. I was just about to buy the TRATPER Rat traps for $11 each. This is much better deal. Got my friend to order 4 too for me. Replacing my all my shop traps with these! Awesome find seriously appreciate this post. Funny how excited I get about killing these things and this looks like a proper weapon to battle them with. It is a battle I have been losing haha

Thanks for the advice. I just figured they were getting hauled off by the snakes or cats or barn owls etc. The original wood ones I have keep disappearing. I find them consistantly 25-50 yards outside the barn.
