Most Moka pots are aluminum and they all turn black. No harm done. Just don't put it in a dishwasher (voice of experience, sorry to say)

3-cup version is $5.87, and might work better for 1 person.
This type of brewer, also known as moka pots, typically works best if you fill the grounds "funnel" to max capacity.

Although it does make a taste cup, it doesn't really make espresso.

Absolutely no dishwasher or hand washing with dish soap, unless that's the aftertaste you're looking for in your coffee
All you need is a paper towel to remove the coffee oil residues, every now and then (few weeks).

I would skip this and buy a Bialetti moka pot. A bit more expensive but much better quality than these off brand ones. It will last you way longer and you can find spare parts to refurbish it down the road.

This can't make espresso; moka pots don't build up sufficient pressure. Title should be changed.
