Can't speak to this brand personally but in general this seamless all-silicone design for kitchen utensil is really ideal.

Spatulas and ladles that are two pieces combined (e.g silicone/nylon head and metal handle) tend to be harder to clean as they collect grime in the section where they join.

I can! Wife bought a bunch of Tovolo stuff before we got married and it's really well made. We use them often (silicone spreader mainly) and they've held up for years without staining. Still look brand new. If we didn't need more utensils, I'd have picked this up in a heartbeat.

Has anyone else had bad luck with silicone spatulas and turners tearing and chipping and losing bits of silicone at the edge? I had gotten a few from Sur la Table years ago and they all did that, despite them telling me that it absolutely shouldn't happen unless you abuse them (I didn't). They used to have a lifetime warranty on them but I think changed to a year or two, which suggests to me that they were sort of acknowledging the issue and didn't want to be liable for it any longer.

Our silicone spatula got a couple chips at the edge after years of heavy use. I think that's normal and expected if you're scraping with it and use it daily like we do.

I feel like some of Sur la Table items are very poor quality. I had a set of large wooden spoons. I only hand washed them. They had some type of protective film on them that disintegrated. Was not happy with that purchase.
