Direct injection is an abomination. With port injection the gasoline keeps your intake valves clean. With DI you get both injectors and valves all coked up... for very little benefit.

i have used these all the time but i never "know" if truly makes a differences? i always see same MPG, same driving performance. Anyone feels the differences adding these additives?

Absolutely if you indeed need the system cleaned and you use a 'complete' system cleaner with PEA. Like another commenter said, if it doesn't have PEA it is literally useless.
